Web Developer
Pongo Interactive is seeking a full-time, mid-level web developer to work in our College Park, MD office. Primary responsibilities will include slicing comps, writing valid XHTML and CSS, installing and maintaining CMS-driven web sites (primarily WordPress), and migrating content to and from a variety of formats. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of demonstrated experience with the following:
- (X)HTML and CSS
- Photoshop and/or Fireworks, particularly as tools to slice comps
- JavaScript
- PHP
Preference will be given to candidates who also have some experience with the following:
- Customizing and creating WordPress themes and Drupal templates
- Working with WordPress Multisite
- Working with BuddyPress
- Creating custom WordPress plug-ins
This is a full-time position (sorry, no contractors), and work will be completed in our College Park office or at client sites, which are primarily in the DC metro area.
